Irritable Bowel SYndrome (IBS)

More than 70 million people suffer from some form of gastrointestinal (GI) disorder.  GI dysfunction is one of the leading reasons for seeking medical attention and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is one of the leading diagnoses.  According to the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, IBS affects between 25 and 45 million people in the United States (10 to 15% of the population).  Since IBS is a group of symptoms (see Rome III Criteria), multiple medications and treatments may be prescribed, one for each symptom.

Adair believes in a more natural approach.  Using food as medicine, she prescribes diet and lifestyle changes to eliminate symptoms and heal the underlying cause of discomfort so medication is not needed.

Beyond the diagnosis

Work with Adair to identify the underlying cause of your GI discomfort and receive personalized diet and lifestyle recommendations to help you feel better fast.
